Powerstax is a UK-based designer and manufacturer of power conversion equipment: DC-DC converters, thyristor-controlled transformer rectifiers (TR), configurable and modular switched mode power supplies (SMPS), bulk-power front ends and high voltage DC systems. Our engineering team supports customers from electrical specification and thermal modelling through to EMC qualification, volume production and lifetime field service — for defence, medical, green hydrogen, electrolysis, water treatment, carbon capture, electro-chlorination, cathodic protection, aerospace, automotive, fuel cell, and oil & gas programmes.
In-house engineering authority
Magnetics design, digital control firmware, thermal simulation and EMC pre-compliance are all performed by Powerstax engineers, not outsourced.
